Last morning I was connected to the Net using the free wireless spots on Coffee Beans KL Plaza. I chose ‘airzed’ as the access points. The speed of the connections was decent which is good enough for checking emails, reading some feeds, and watching some youtube videos.
When I ask for the internet connection, the barista provide me with some accounts with username ‘cbklp1′ to ‘cbklp6′ and password ‘espresso’. Notice the pattern of the username, and soon you’ll realized that it is an acronym for ‘coffee beans kl plaza 1′.
If you happen to enjoy some espresso there while bringing your wifi devices just try to figure where is your hut location. For example, you may tried to enter ‘cbsklcc1′ as username at Suria KLCC, that expensive mall just below the Petronas Twin Towers. Don’t forget to cross your fingers!
I’m not even tried those tricks on another places yet but there’s a big possibility that this trick might work.
And for the password, chances are the password is different from other spot. You might find yourself entered ‘macchiatto’ instead of ‘espresso’.
Still find yourself getting stuck to connect? Try to politely asking them for the accounts. I’ll bet they will give it to you as soon as you complete the payment of your coffee (or tea). Or change the access point instead, and pray there’s a public access point without requiring you to enter a WPA passcode.
